Diamondbacks Reign Supreme
It was a very hot day with temperatures reaching 100 degrees. But that didn't stop the 8 teams in our U11 Maryland Rockfish Lacrosse Cup. Thanks to every team for coming out and participating in this years tournament. It was a lot of fun to watch many of the games. You all play very hard and your coaches have done a great job teaching you the proper fundamentals of the game.
It was a great Championship game between the Diamondbacks and Chesapeake Rock. With the score deadlocked at 3 a piece at half time, the second half was full of action on both ends of the field. The Diamondbacks were able to get 3 more goals in the second half and claimed the championship by a score of 6-4. With the win, the Diamondbacks got Championship T-Shirts, a nice big Cup Trophy and free entry into next year's tournament.
