Why do we put on this tournament?
This tournament will always be in the middle of the week so that it doesn't conflict with other tournaments. It will be at the beginning of the club season and serve as a good pre-cusor to the competitive tournaments many of the club teams are in throughout the summer. Once well established, I hope that it becomes a great opportunity to see who is the BEST Maryland Club team. Each year, the winning team will get to bring home a big trophy CUP and bragging rights as the best Maryland Club team, where they will be able to defend their Cup the next summer. All proceeds go back to our players in our own Program. No money goes to the director (that would be me) or anyone else for personal gains.
